How can I have my accounts validated by email to access my platform?

Scorecast Business offers a new feature that allows registrations to be validated by an e-mail sent to the player's e-mail address. This avoids errors in e-mail addresses. 


To activate or deactivate this feature, you need to be logged in with your administrator account on your Scorecast Business contest website. 

  1. Click on Administrate and go to the Settings tab.
  2. Scroll down the page to the Allowed e-mails option.
  3. A switch ON|OFF allows you to enable or disable this option.



By default, this option is deactivated, as in many companies, e-mails from Scorecast Business are sent as spam, blocking subscriptions. If you would like to use this feature, please contact your IT department to accept e-mails from noreply@scorecast.fr.


If the option is enabled, players must validate their account by clicking on the link sent to the e-mail address they registered with. On the other hand, if the option is deactivated, then registrations are possible without this step, although there are other possible validations, such as filtering by e-mail masks.
