How do I manage my languages?

As an administrator of a Scorecast Business platform, you can choose your languages directly from your administration area. 


Add a language

To add a language to your Scorecast Business platform, you need to be logged in with your administrator account on your Scorecast Business competition website. 

  1. Click on Administrate and go to the Settings tab.
  2. Scroll down to Languages.
  3. If you see the Add a language button, you haven't reached the maximum number of languages on your offer, so you can click on it and then click on the desired language.

Remove a language

To remove a language from your Scorecast Business platform, you need to be logged in with your administrator account on your Scorecast Business competition website. 

  1. Click on Administrate and go to the Settings tab.
  2. Scroll down to Languages.
  3. When you hover over the relevant language, you'll see a small trash can on the right. To remove the language, click on it.



Default language

You can set your platform's default language from your administration area. 


The default language is used as the reference language for features using content in your platform. This is the case for bonus questions, rules or the home page of your platform's website.


For players, the default language is displayed if the device with which the player accesses your platform's website or the space from Scorecast Business mobile applications has a language not listed on your platform.


Examples: 

  • If I access the website or the space on via the mobile applications from a French device and the platform has two languages: English and Spanish, with Spanish by default, then I'll see the platform in Spanish. 
  • On the other hand, if I access the website or the space on via mobile applications from a French device and the platform has two languages: French and English with English as the default, then I'll see the platform in French.


To change the default language of your Scorecast Business platform, you need to be logged in with your administrator account on your Scorecast Business competition website. 

  1. Click on Administrate and go to the Settings tab.
  2. Scroll down to Languages.
  3. When you hover over the relevant language, you'll see a small Set as default button. Click on it to change your default language.
