How do I add or remove bonus points from a player?

The administrator of a Scorecast Business platform is the only person who can add or remove points from a player. They can also reset everyone's points to zero. 

Here are a few examples of how this feature can be used:

- if a player has been unable to make a prediction from the platform, but has sent a prediction to the administrator by message 
- if there are other external animations that earn points for the Scorecast Business competition set up by a company
- if someone joins the competition late so that it doesn't start at 0 points

To add or remove points for a player on your Scorecast Business platform, you need to be logged in with your administrator account on your Scorecast Business competition website. 

1. Click on Administrate, then go to the Handicap tab.
2. This will take you to a list of players with three columns. There's the current number of bonus points, a field for adding or subtracting points, and the total points for the player in question.
3. In the box below the Add column for the corresponding player, you can add or subtract points. The number of points you enter in this box will be added to the current bonus. This means that if a person already has 2 bonus points, if you enter 10, they'll get 12 bonus points.

To subtract points, place a minus (dash 6) in front of the number of points to be subtracted, without spaces. For example, "-5".

Mobile applications

To add or remove points for a player on your Scorecast Business platform, you need to be logged in with your administrator account on your Scorecast Business mobile application. 

1. Click on the More tab of the relevant competition.
2. Then go to the Manage tab, then Bonus and malus.
3. This will take you to a list of players with two columns. There's a field for adding or deducting points, as well as the total points for the player in question. If you've already added bonus points to the player concerned, then the box is already filled with the bonus point value in place.
4. In the box below the Bonus (pts) column for the corresponding player, you can add or subtract points.
5. Click on the Save button to start the ranking calculation, which will be updated shortly.
