How are players with the same number of points ranked?

These explanations apply to all competitions outside Paris 2024.

In many situations, players can be tied on points in the ranking. A question that often comes up is how tied players are ranked. This is an excellent question, and one that will be answered in this article. 

In fact, there are several rules for defining order in the ranking, defined according to this order:  

1. descending number of points ;
2. number of perfects (good scores) descending ;
3. number of good gaps decreasing ;
4. number of good winners descending;
5. efficiency rate: number of predictions (matches and bonus questions) with at least 1 point divided by the number of predictions made by the player. 

These rules also apply to the team classification. For the latter, rule 5 is not taken into account.
